Innovation Lab in Singapore Opened by Ramco Systems



Ramco Systems, a leader in innovation regarding software solutions, has partnered with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to open an engineering lab in Singapore. The laboratory is going to be used to advance innovations in the regarding intellectual property in particular, as well as developing work wear for ground engineers and creating and developing new drones which are used to inspect aircraft whilst they are on the ground.

The focus on intellectual property solutions is intended to help solve problems encountered daily by the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industry. The laboratory could be considered the most significant investment in aviation innovation to come out of Asia. There are hopes that the labs employment numbers will eventually include over fifty global innovators in Singapore who will be working on innovations in machine learning equipment which is predicted to lessen the need for manpower to perform operational tasks on aircraft whilst on the ground.
